Funeral services were held Sunday in the Church of Christ for Clyde Finley, 40, who was fatally injured Wednesday, April 19, in a truck accident near Effingham, Ill. Fred Dennis conducted the services. Music was furnished by the church choir. Pallbearers were Willis Carter, Jack Davison, Jack Ramsey, Sam Peters, Erman Endsley, & Kenneth Jones. Interment was in Tuttle cemetery under the direction of the Sowers funeral home. Clyde Irvin Finley, son of James Irvin & Maggie Finley, was born 12/23/1909 in Hayworth, OK and passed away 4/19/1950. He was the beloved father of 2 surviving sons, Sammy, 11 years & Darrell, 7 years. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Mrs Edith Fitzpatrick of Oakland, Calif & Mrs Lutie Hudspeth of SanJuan, TX, and 5 brothers,
William Victor of Kansas City, MO, Joe of Arroyo, Granda, Calif, John of Wright City, OK, Pete of Yakima, WA, & Ercil of Mercedes, TX.
