Frederick A. Yoap, age 91 of Marinette, Wisconsin, passed away July 4, 2013 at his home. He was born January 16, 1922 in Peshtigo, Wisconsin to Frederick and Hulda Yoap. Frederick spent his early years in the Town of Grover and resided in the Grover, Peshtigo and Marinette areas his entire life.

Fred married the former Mildred Boettcher on May 3, 1947.

After working as a farmer for more than 40 years, he enjoyed a variety of careers. He worked at the Marinette County Highway Department, The Ansul Company and Chevalier Motors, retiring in 1987 at the age of 65. He retired a second time in 2003 after driving school bus for the Peshtigo and Marinette School Districts. He was a member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God; had often led singing in the church and was a member of Gideon's International.

Fred is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mildred;
three children: Beverly Yoap, Brenda (Ged) Wood and Randy (Barbara) Yoap;
a daughter-in-law Bernice Yoap;
seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son Daniel; one brother and four sisters.
