Funeral rites will be conducted at Gill Memorial home at Wilton at 2 p.m. on Thursday for Cardie D. Ayres.
Mr. Ayres, a former Wilton resident, died at Mesa, Arizona, Sunday evening, March 10.
The Rev. Robert Farr of the Methodist church will officiate at the funeral services. Friends may call at Gill's after noon on Wednesday.
One son, Verle, of Wilton, survives.
Also surviving are sons Roy Ayres of Temple City, Calif., and Dwight Ayres of Mesa, Arizona.
Interment will be at Oakdale cemetery.
