William Pryant Easley was born in Virgina to Priscilla Pryant Easley and Richard S. Easley. Richard S. Easley had been A Revolutionary War Soldier in Virginia and was one of the founders of the trading post called Fort Yargo in 1791. The Fort is in a Georgia State Park now. The park is located in present day Winder, Ga.

3. Richard S Easley,born 22 Nov 1822, Walton County, Ga. died on 16 Aug 1864, Fussell's Mill, Henrico county, VA. While serving in the 11th Ga. volunteer infantry, CO'Y H.

5. James B Easley, born 22 Jun 1828, Walton County. Co. C, 9th Regiment, Georgia Volunteer Infantry wounded at Gettysburg, 2 July 1963 and surrendered at Appomattox courthouse 9 April 1865. died 14 Oct 1908, New London, Rusk County, Tx. burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
