From Obituaries for the year 1890, The Rushville Times: " GRAY, MARY B. -- Mary B. Gray was born in Marion County, Kentucky, in the year 1820, and died Nov. 29, 1890. She was married to Geo. L. Gray in 1836. She made a profession of the Christian religion in 1863 and united with United Brethren church. Sister GRAY lived an examplary Christian life and death did not find her unprepared, but ready to hasten forward and join her husband who had only preceded her to glory a few days. They had been long united in life's toils and tears, and they were only separated a few days. The funeral was conducted by the writer assisted by Revs. Ivens and Hodges.

Soon to met and part no more.

Then we wil lmeet our departed ones

George and Mary were married 6/12/1837 in Schuyler County, Illinois. They had one other child besides those listed below: James (b. abt 1840, Camden).
