NAMPA — Services for Mrs. Edwardine F. Packwood, 56, of Modesto, Calif., who died Monday evening at her home, will be conducted at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel here at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Ernest E. Wilson of the First United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be at Hillcrest on Karcher Road.
Mrs. Packwood was born Dec. 18, 1915, at Ringstead, Iowa, and moved with her parents to Butte, Mont., and later to Portland. She attended schools in both cities. She was married in August, 1939, in Seattle to R. Earl Packwood, and the couple came to Nampa from Montana in 1955. They lived here until moving to Modesto in February, 1964.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Nampa Lady Elks.
Surviving in addition to Mr. Packwood are a stepson, Ray Packwood, Sacrament, Calif.; a brother, E. L. Vahldieck, Portland, and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at the chapel today and until the service Saturday.
