Tyler J. Beans, 17, of

Kutztown, formerly of Topton, died unexpectedly July 12, 2013, in his Kutztown residence.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of John A. Beans, with whom he resided, and Ruth Chobot, Topton, and a stepson to Sheree H. (Stanshine) Beans, Sellersville, Bucks County.

Tyler was a student at Brandywine Heights Area High School, having just completed his junior year. In his youth he was active in wrestling and baseball.

Survivors include parents, stepmother, maternal grandparents Mary (Sinisko), widow of George Chobot, Quakertown; paternal grandparents George A. Beans of Lansdale, PA, widower of Darlene P. (Nolan) Beans.

Also surviving are his step grandparents, Lowell and Lynn (Sabin) Stanshine, Sellersville. There is a sister, Kate M. Beans, Kutztown; a brother, Michael J. Beans, Glendale, Calif., and a half sister, Melissa N. Beans, Sellersville.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Bruce W. Potteiger officiating. Inurnment in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Friends may call Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
