Mrs. Dorothy Margaret Bass, former Taft Resident, succumbed Thursday morning at 101 H Street in Bakersfield. Mrs. Bass was born in Carl Junction, Mo., February 26, 1916. She leaves her husband, Roe Thurston Bass; two sons, Stephen and Douglas; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Smith of Bakersfield, Miss Grace Cox and Mrs. Virginia Wright of Taft and Mrs. Daisy Winton of McFarland; five brothers, Roy and Ray Cox of Glendale, Ore; Carl of El paso, Tx.; Clyde of Baltimore, MD., and Jeff of San Francisco and other relatives. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Zora May Cox. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
