Island Sarah Anne Gillette, age 16, of Bainbridge Island, died in an automobile accident Aug. 23.
She was born Feb. 5, 1988 in Seattle.
She was known for her laughter and love, and had many friends.
She is survived by her parents Christopher J. Gillette and Caroline (Anson) Brooks; her twin sister, Caitlin Gillette; brother Christopher Gillette; sisters Mary and Anne Brooks; grandparents Ed and Ginger Newlin and Anita Gillette; great-grandparents Duke and Orveline Frisbie; uncles Geordie and Jeff Flohr; aunt Amie Seely; and her large extended family.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Gillette family home, 9255 Fort St., Bainbridge Island (follow Blakely Avenue to Tani Creek).
Remembrances can be made to Bainbridge Education School Trust, 8489 Madison Ave., Bainbridge Island, WA 98110; or Children's Hospital and Medical Center, P. O. 50020S 200, Seattle, WA 98145-5020.
A private family service will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Seattle. Arrangements are by Hoffner Fisher and Harvey, Seattle.
