Mrs. Mary Stevenson, 84, of Petroleum Center died at her home at 3:15 a.m. yesterday following an illness of over a year.
Mrs. Stevenson was born at Cherrytree on august 27, 1872, the daughter of William and Anna Crawford Snow. She spent her entire life in the Cherrytree, Oil City, Rouseville, Seneca, and Petroleum Center communities.
Her husband, Fred Stevenson, died around 1908.
Mrs. Stevenson is survived by four daughters, Mrs. R. H. Williams of Titusville, RD2, Mrs. Blanche Cornell of Grand Valley, RD1, Mrs. Velma Dugrenier of Sibley and Mrs. Clara Sampsel of Oil City, two sons, Melvin Stevenson of Petroleum Center and Lawrence Stevenson of Titusville, RD3.
A fifth daughter, Margaret, died about 40 years ago.
Mrs. Stevenson is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow from the C.C. Crawford Funeral Home in Oil City. Burial will be in the Cranberry Cemetery beside her mother.
