My maternal grandmother Janie Anna Copperell was b.July 25,1911 in Vanzant Co. Texas To Noah Marcus Copperell and Evie Lena Pennington Copprell.She married Frank Noble Mathis Dec.9,1925 in Vanzant Co. Texas.Together they had five children.

After five children and 25 years of marrage she went to beauty school and became a hairdresser.They devorced after 27 years of marrage and remained best of friends through out their life time.She married Arthur Earl Mangum abt.1954 and he passed away after only eleven months of marrage of heart falure. Together they had no children.
She was a hairdresser for many years untill it was to hard to stand for any length of time, she then became a seamstress by profession untill retirement.
My grandmother was funny and whitty. She was very caring.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, canning, gardening plants and flowers, Wrestling, playing bingo and reading. She was a good christian who read her bible faithfully.
We love and miss you granny.
