Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home, Iota for Robert D. Fruge, 76, who died Monday, July 15, 2013 at 3:05 p.m. at Jennings American Legion Hospital.
Fr. David Broussard and Rev. Clifton LeJeune will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to service time. A rosary will be recited Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Reed Cemetery.
Mr. Fruge is survived by one daughter, Donnette Fruge of Jennings; two sons, Robbie Fruge and his wife Becky of Jennings, Kevin Fruge and his wife Michelle of Round Rock, TX; his loving companion, Myrtle Louviere of Jennings; three brothers, Roonie Fruge, Clayton Fruge and Daniel Isaac Fruge all of Tee Mamou; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Carla Fruge; his parents, Isaac and Enola LeJeune Fruge; one sister, Betty F. Pousson; four brothers, Albert, Norman, Gerald and George Fruge.
