ARTHUR J. LESPERANCE

Arthur J. Lesperance, 73, of 2215 13th St., Two Rivers, retired longtime Hamilton Mfg. Co. employee, died Friday morning at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital. He had been in failing health for several years. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am Tuesday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home and at 10 am at St. Mark Catholic
Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. B. Thomas Peeters officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mr. Lesperance was born in the Province of Quebec, Canada, May 16, 1893, son of the late Octave and Josephine Moreau Lesperance. The family moved to Two Rivers 54 years ago after living a number of years in Marinette County.

He married the former Margaret Zych at St. Boniface Church, Manitowoc, in June of 1920. She died in 1947. He married the former Hattie Anderson Larson at Two Rivers, Nov. 6, 1948.

For many years, prior to employment at Plant No. 1 of Mirro Aluminum Co., he worked at the Hamilton firm, retiring when he was 65. He was a member of St. Mark Holy Name Society, Catholic Order of Foresters and the Hamilton Goodfellowship Club.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Wesley of Milwaukee; three sisters, Mrs. Hugo Kasten and Mrs. Elmer Duval of Two Rivers and Mrs. Frank Harris of Watervliet, Mich.; four brothers, Joseph, Oscar, Edward and Clifford of Two Rivers; a step-daughter, Mrs. Donald Meneau, of Two Rivers; a step-son, Edward Radke, of Two Rivers and three grandchildren.

Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 pm Monday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 pm.

Miss Margaret Zych, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Zych was married last Wednesday to Arthur Lesperance of Two Rivers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Octave Lesperance. The wedding was solemnized at the St. Boniface Church.
