Funeral Friday at Workinger-Semmel F.H. and Crematorium, York. Burial in Mt. Rose Cemetery, The Rt. Rev. Barry E. Yingling, CSSS, chaplain of The Brunswick at Longstown, officiating. Mrs. Garrett was born November 27, 1916, in York. She was the daughter of the late John E. and Edna M. (Rockey) Reisinger. Mrs. Garrett was a homemaker. She was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital for many years and the former Westside Hospital. Mrs. Garret is survived by one daughter, Jeannette M. Peery and her husband, James of York; one son, George A. Garrett, Jr. and his wife, Jan of York; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. [York Daily Record]
