Mrs. Garrett was born November 27, 1916, in York. She was the daughter of the late John E. and Edna M. (Rockey) Reisinger. Mrs. Garrett was a homemaker. She was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital for many years and the former Westside Hospital. Mrs. Garret is survived by one daughter, Jeannette M. Peery and her husband, James of York; one son, George A. Garrett, Jr. and his wife, Jan of York; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. [York Daily Record]
