Oneta E. (Snyder) Buchar, 93, died Sunday, July 17, 2005 at 9:40 a.m. at her home. She was the wife of Charles "Bud" E. Buchar, with whom she would have celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary, July 29, 2005. Funeral Wednesday at Pleasureville United Methodist Church, York. Burial in Mt. Rose Cemetery, her pastor, Rev. Steven M. Livermore, officiating. Mrs. Buchar was born February 9, 1912 in Pleasureville. She was the daughter of the late Nevin O. and May (Diehl) Snyder. Mrs. Buchar was a homemaker. She was a member of Pleasureville United Methodist Church and it's Senior Fellowship. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Constance J. Buchar and Patricia M. Meyer, both of York; one son, Gary C. Buchar of York; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one greatgreat-grandson; one sister, Marilyn Mundis of York; and one brother, Robert Snyder of York. Mrs. Buchar was a loving Wife, Mother & Grandmother who will be sadly missed by her family. [York Daily Record]
