She married Ervin C. Polzin September 14, 1940 at Grover Community Church. Ervin preceded her in death on May 25, 1979.
As a young woman, Alice worked at the Elgin Watch Factory. During WWII, she and Ervin worked at the Naval Yard in Bremerton, Washington. Alice loved traveling, gardening and fishing. She was active in her church choir, teaching Sunday School and was a member of WSWS.
Alice is survived by a daughter Lois (William) Carlson of Colorado Springs, CO; a son Garen (Carolyn) Polzin of Hartford, WI;
3 grandchildren: Christopher (Simone) Polzin, Reed (Vicky) Carlson and Matt Carlson;
2 great-grandchildren Ervin Carlson and Thomas Carlson;
and a brother, Paul (Jan) Prestin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends that were all so kind to her.
Along with her parents and husband, Ervin; Alice was preceded in death by, a daughter, Carol; two sisters, Helen and Lucille Prestin; a brother, Gilbert Prestin; and a stepmother, Doris Prestin.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 7th at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until time of services at 3:00 pm. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Marinette
