Frank Junk

Frank Junk, 72, of Hika, passed away at 3:15 p.m. Thursday following a brief illness.

He was born Oct. 26, 1882, in Cleveland, the son of the late Franz and Josephine Junk. On Feb 5, 1912, he was married to Ellen M. Rien. The couple resided in Cleveland until four years ago when they moved to Hika.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Francis W. Junk of Sheboygan; four daughters, Sr. M. Eudelma of Kekaha, Kauai, T. H.; Mrs. Norma Klein of Cleveland, Mrs. Gertrude Grohskopf of Sheboygan and Mrs. Mabel Tienor of Hika; 16 grandchildren; one brother, Henry of England, Wis.; and one sister, Mrs. Helen Wiegand of Appleton.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at the Stoltenberg Funeral Home, Cleveland and at 9:30 a.m., at St. Wendel's Catholic Church. The Rev. Richard Kellen will be celebrant of the requiem high mass and burial will be made in the St. George's Cemetery.

The body will be in state at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Sunday until the time of services on Monday.
