Mrs. Stephens was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church in Keener. She was employed by West Clox for 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. "Ott" Stephens; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Edward Smith; brother, Harrison Edward Smith Jr.; and two sisters, Margaret and Arvella Smith. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Dale (Linda Gail) Stephens, Boaz, Mickey (Linda Sue) Stephens, and Greg (Pam) Stephens, Gadsden, and Shawn (Catherine) Stephens, Talladega; daughters, Sylvia (Curtis) Renfroe, and Linda Carol (Robert) McElroy, Attalla, Saratha Davis, Gadsden, and Dawn (Gene) Moody, Sardis; brother, Sherman Smith, Cartersville, Ga.; sister, Christine Steagall, Calhoun, Ga.; extended family.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
