Henrietta was the sixth of twelve children born to Milton and Henrietta Elizabeth (Sprague) Bean. She married Andrew Leake in 1912 and they had two children: Leonard Andrew and Stephen Bernard. In 1929 she married James McBride.

Funeral Pending

Mrs. Maud McBride, 70, a native of the Centennial Valley, passed away Sunday at her home in Lima following a brief illness. She was born in 1892 of Beaverhead county pioneer parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Milton Bean, early day residents of the Centennial. She spent her entire life in our county. Her sweet nature endeared her to all with whom she came in contact.
She was married to James McBride in Idaho Falls, Idaho in 1929 and had previously been married to Andrew Leak. From this marriage were born two sons, Leonard and Bernard Leak.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Leak of Bountiful, Utah and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Leak of Dover, Delaware; grandchildren Fred Leak and Kay Leak of Bountiful; brother-in-law and sisters Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Noyes of Chinook, Montana, and Mrs. Roberta McDowell of Dillon; brothers and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Milton H. Bean of Monida and Mr. and Mrs. Farmer Bean of Deer Lodge; numerous nieces and nephews.
The remains are at the Brundage Funeral Home while arrangements are being completed.
