Adeline Armga, 89, of Waupun, died Monday, Nov. 5, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Adeline was born Oct. 26, 1918, in the town of Crystal Lake in Marquette County, the daughter of Julius and Minnie Hessler Harke.

On Oct. 14, 1950, she married Laurence Armga at Pella Lutheran Church parsonage in Waupun. Following their marriage the couple resided in Waupun all their life.

Adeline enjoyed cooking, baking and was an avid gardener. She also enjoyed helping out on the family farm in Marquette County. She was a member of Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun.

Adeline is survived by a daughter, Sandra Armga, Waupun; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Harke, Wautoma, and Hilda Harke, Wautoma; a niece, Karen Harke, Wautoma; a nephew, Norlen Harke, Missouri; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence in 1987; four brothers, Arthur, Bernard, Clarence and Ernest Harke, and sister-in-law, Grace Harke.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m. at Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun, with the Rev. Kenneth Loehrke and Rev. David Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Neshkoro. Friends and relatives may call on the family at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home of Waupun and staff are serving the family.
