Herbert Feinman, 74, passed away Saturday, October 9, 1999 after an extended illness. Herbert was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Army Air Corps. After graduating from New York University, he was a practicing industrial engineer in Atlanta, GA, where he met his wife Annette. Herbert and his family made Jacksonville their home in 1969, where they became active members of Beth Shalom Congregation and the Jacksonville community. He was a shriner and a member of the Morocco Temple, and also served for a time as the leader of the Morocco Temple Swing Band. He is survived by his wife Annette, daughter and son-in-law Kevin and Debbie Vozar, granddaughter Heather Vozar, sister Mrs. Leona Herman and a host of aunts, nephews, cousins and friends. A graveside service was conducted by Rabbi Gary Perras on Tuesday, October 12, 1999 at 12:00 noon at Beth Shalom Cemetery (Evergreen Cemetery gate #5). In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society, 4030 Boulevard Center Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
