In the 1930 census Gora's name is misinterpreted as Lora in ward 1 block 171 sheet 5 A Enumeration district 49-299.
Gora once served as President of the Crooked Creek Senior Citizens Organization.

Services: 1 P.M. May 2 in Mount Vernon Community Missionary Baptist Church, of which she was a member, with calling there from 11 A.M. Burial: Washington Park North Cemetery. Survivors: children the Rev. Anthony M. Jessup, Betty Jo Lively, Stephany Merriweather sister Betty Jean Roberts six grandchildren several great-grandchildren. Stuart Mortuary is handling arrangements.
