Antoinette H. Dennhardt, 87, of Silvis,
died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Genesis
Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St.
John"s Catholic Church, Rapids City.
Burial will be at St. John"s Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday with a rosary at 4:30 p.m. at
Gibson Funeral Home, Port Byron. Memorials $
may be made to St. John"s Catholic Church
or St. Mary"s Catholic Church, Hampton.

The former Antoinette Helen DeRiemacker
was born March 1, 1922, in Hampton Twp.,
the daughter of Julius and Eugenie
Vercoutere DeRiemacker. She married
Garnett "Garney" Dennhardt on July 7, 1955,
in Peoria, Ill. He died May 5, 1986.

She formerly had been employed as a press
operator at VanDerbeke Cleaners, East
Moline. Mrs. Dennhardt was an avid Chicago
Cub fan. She also enjoyed cooking and
socializing with people. She was a very
sharing person.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law,
Dennis and Teresa Dennhardt, East Moline
and Gene and Beri Dennhardt, East Moline;
grandchildren and spouses, Jennifer and
Josh Littrell, East Moline, Sarah and Pat
Falkowski, Kewaskum, Wis., Jason and Penny
Dennhardt, Elmhurst, Ill., Andrew Dennhardt,
Carbondale, Ill., and Christian Dennhardt,
East Moline; great-grandchildren, Harrison
and Owen Littrell, East Moline; and sister,
Marge DeRiemacker, Silvis. She was preceded
in death by sisters, Mary Scharer and
Lorena Logsdon; and brothers, Tony
DeRiemacker, and Edward, who died in
infancy. The family would like to give
special thanks to Genesis Hospice for
the special care.
