Larry R. Schenandore, Sr., 65, died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2005 at his home. He was the husband of Sandra L. (Cummings) Schenandore. The couple celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary November 7, 2004. He was born January 1, 1940, in Windsor Township, a son of the late Mae I. (Kraft) Schenandore Hollerbush and a stepson of the late Kenneth Hollerbush. Larry worked for Rutter Livestock and was a member of the Victory Club, York. In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by a daughter, Peggy L. Vansickle and her husband, Joe of Hellam; two sons, Larry R. Schenandore, Jr. and his wife, Karen of York, and Gary M. Schenandore of Dover; grandchildren, Travis and Nikki Schenandore and Jeremy Vansickle; five sisters, Connie Schenandore, Cindy Crisamore and Jackie Busser, all of Dover, Linda Sanders of Cherokee Village, AK, and Mary Wivell of Covington; and a brother, Dennis Schenandore of Dover. Funeral Tuesday at Emig Funeral Home, Dover. Burial in Suburban Memorial Gardens, Pastor Patrick Clady of Hunterstown Church of God officiating. [York Daily Record]
