Mr. Ellerman was owner of Ellerman Radiator Shop where he repaired radiators for over 50 years. He served as deacon and church pianist for many years at Oak Grove Baptist Church where he was a member.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Ernestine Johnston Ellerman; son Jan Eugene Ellerman; three brothers and five sisters.
He was survived by three sons, Jodie and Rine Ellerman, both of Winnsboro; Larry and Claudine Ellerman, both of Monroe; Ronnie Ellerman of Winnsboro; eight daughters, Sue and Shirley Cupit, both of West Monroe; JoAnne and Luther French of Tappahonnock, VA; Wydell and Robert Meredith of Bradenton, FL; Brenda and Don Kemp of Monroe; Mary Weaks of Palmetto, FL; Rhonda and Richard Guidroz of Natchitoches; Emma and John Boozman of Natchitoches; Betty Ellerman of West Monroe; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Donnie E.
