Graveside services for Howard Staudt, 82, of Lamesa will be held Monday, January 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Dawson County Cemetery with Dwaine Brown officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Howard passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Lamesa. He was born March 15, 1935 to Howard and Bertha (Strickland) Staudt. He married Jo Ann Hoskins on November 22, 1955 in Lovington NM. She preceded him in death August 15, 2011. They were married 55 years. Howard is survived by his children, Teresa Staudt of Lamesa, and Chris Staudt and wife, Melanie of Lamesa; grandchildren, Jason Staudt and wife, Katy of Plano, Kimberly Staudt of Lubbock, Mavrick Staudt of Lamesa, and Alexis Staudt of San Angelo. He is preceded in death by his father, Howard Staudt; mother, Bertha Nelson; step-father, P.H. "Doc" Nelson; and sister, Bertrina Crawford. The family suggests memorials to a charity of your choice.
