Elmer Westerhold, 68, of Cottage Hills, formerly of the Edwardsville area, died at 12:25 pm Wednesday in St. Joseph's Hosptial in Alton.
He was born 21 Nov 1907. He was married to Edna Blair in August of 1940. His wife survives. Also surviving are a stepson, Jerry Blair, of the Wood River area, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today [Thursday] at the Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Marks Mortuary, with the Rev. Leonard Todd officiating.
Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery.
