Don was born November 8, 1971 in Albuquerque, NM the son of John Konvicka and Lucille (Minks) Kumpunen. He was a 1990 graduate of Friendswood High School, Friendswood, TX and was united in marriage to PRIVATE on PRIVATE in PRIVATE. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Rhode Island of which he is a plank owner. He was currently employed by .
Don belonged to the First United Methodist Church, where he was a youth leader of Rock Student Ministries. He was a spiritual father to many youth. He enjoyed restoring his Mustang with his son and salt water fishing. He was a God-fearing, faithful husband, quick to ask for forgiveness if he was in the wrong, with sincere repentance. Don was hardworking, not wanting to leave a job half completed. He was a giver of himself to those in need and a defender of the right and protector of the innocent. He will forever be my partner, best friend, lover, superhero, sugarbear…. Don was a true family man, a Godly-man by example, and a great father.
