Geary married Myrna on November 18, 1958 in Seminole, Texas. Geary worked in the oilfield for 21 years in the Odessa/Midland and Andrews area. Has lived in and worked Dickens for 30 years on the Roads and Bridges for Dickens County Pct. 2 and retired on March 31, 2013.

Geary is survived by his wife Myrna of Afton and two sons Teary Blasingame and wife Karen of Afton and Tony Blasingame and wife Darla of Lubbock; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Geary was preceded in death by his parents Dorr and Irene Blasingame and one grandchild.

Graveside services will be Friday July 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Afton Cemetery in Afton, Texas with Rev. Bill Bailey and Rev. Billy Goodwin officiating under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home in Spur, Texas.
