Wife Nellie E. Richards d. 1937. WWI 2nd Lt. Air Service:
Arthur Noble was the first manager of the Commonwealth Power Company water-powered electric plant on E. Erie St. in Albion from 1904-1910. He then purchased an auto garage in June, 1910 and opened Albion Garage Sales Agency at the corner of Michigan Avenue and N. Superior St. In 1919 he opened the A.G. Noble Garage at 110-112 E. Michigan Avenue. He held the local franchise for Chrysler, Maxwell, Chalmers, Jewett and Paige cars. Noble served as an Albion city councilman 1923-26, and was and early member of the Sheldon Hospital board. He sold his auto business in 1928. He then established a radio and appliance business at 411 S. Superior St. During the Depression he worked for the Albion Public Schools and Albion College in maintenance and grounds and buildings.
