Carson M. Allison, 38, died Sunday at Silver Crest Hospital, New Albany, IN, following a long illness. Funeral services were held today at 2:00 in Baxter Funeral Home and burial was in Smellage Cemetery. Rev. Fred Hawkins and Rev. Robert Markham officiated.
Mr. Allison, a native of Putnam County, was the son of Julius and Nettie Allison who survive.
He was an employee of the Dana Corporation in Marion, IN, but had lived for 5 years in Salem, IN.
He is survived also by his widow, Mrs. Flora E. Allison; 2 sisters, Mrs. Euda Shanks, Silver Point, Rt. 1, TN & Mrs. Rebecca Burgess of Battle Creek, MI.
