Dennis P. Cox of Algonquin A funeral Mass for Dennis P. Cox, 54, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake. Fr. Perfecto Vasquez will officiate. Born July 16, 1948, in Elgin, the son of Frances and Helen (nee Hogansen) Cox, he died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. Interment will take place in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary. Mr. Cox worked for Kenmode Tool and Engineering in Algonquin for 35 years. Dennis is survived by his wife, Billie (nee Hedges) of Algonquin, whom he married Oct. 4, 1969 in Elgin; children, Raymond (Kristie) Cox of Poplar Grove, Bradley Jay (Jennifer) Cox of Algonquin, and Amanda Sue Cox of Elgin; grandchildren, Jesse Robert and Alexandra Cox; and his sisters, SueAnn (James) Bertrum of Woodstock and Diana (Steven) Clemons of Wonder Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Memorials in his name may be made to the American Lung Association, 1440 W. Washington Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607-9949.
