MERIDIAN — Services for Glenn J. Lancaster will be held Thursday, at 10:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Reverend Roy Dabbs officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Lancaster, age 64, of Clarksville, Tenn., died Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tenn.

Mr. Lancaster was born in 1948 in Bemis, Tenn. He was a graduate of Tupelo High School and Itawamba Community College. He also attended The University of Tennessee for two years. Before his retirement in 2005, his career field was production control and scheduling for Maybelline Cosmetics, then Peavy Electronics. He received several achievement awards while at Maybelline Cosmetics and Peavy Electronics. He was a devoted Christian, husband, father, uncle, and grandfather. His hobbies included golf, bowling, and watching NASCAR and other sporting events.

Survivors include his wife, Daphne Vincent Lancaster; daughter, Chrissy Warner McMinn; grandchildren, J.T. Thomas; Joshua Thomas; Jackson Warner; Reagan Vance; and Zane McMinn; brother, Terry Lancaster; sister, Betty Sue Jefferies; niece, Sandra Harrell; many other nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eloyd and Nell Lancaster; in-laws, Arno and Ruth Vincent; sons, Mitch Lancaster and Bruce L. Warner II; siblings, Mary Nell Collins; Georgia Ann Knott; Lloyd Lancaster; Willard Lancaster; and J.M. Lancaster.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to East Central Community College, Arno and Ruth Vincent Scholarship Fund and University of Southern Mississippi, Arno Vincent Scholarship Fund.
