Miss Emmy L. Patton
Miss Emmy Lou Patton, 82, of 636 Pennsylvania Ave. died Jan. 19, 1988, at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital. Services are 3:30 p.m. today at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
A native of Memphis, Miss Patton had spent most of her life in Jackson. She was a member of the Baha'i Faith. She retired in 1970 from the Jackson public schools, having taught for 42 years at Murrah and Central high schools.
She is survived by her brother, George E. Patton Sr., of Jackson; and two nephews, two great-nephews and one great-niece.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
