MRS. J. H. PUGH IS BORNE TO GRAVE

Mrs. J. Howard Pugh of Burlington, N. J., widow of Hon. J. Howard Pugh, M. D., died in her home at that place last Saturday, and will be buried today from Old St. Mary's Church, with interment in the church yard adjourning.

Mrs. Pugh was a woman of the old school and well known in this city. Noted for her many charities and a devoted church worker, she will be greatly missed.

Her late husband was a member of Congress for some years, when Mercer and Burlington Counties were in the same Congressional district. He was also president of the Burlington Banking Company, physician of St. Mary's Hall and Burlington College in the palmy days of the latter institution, mayor of the town several times and its leading physician.

Dr. Pugh was a brother of Charles E. Pugh, first vice-president of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a frequent visitor here.

Mrs. Pugh is survived by two daughters -- Mrs. George Hewitt and Miss Anne Pugh, both residents of Burlington.
