Born in Arley, AL, he was a son of the late William Arthur and Ada Dodd Densmore. Mr. Densmore came to New Ellenton, SC in 1953 with the E.I. DuPont Company where he retired after twenty-five years of service. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and water skiing until his health failed.
He is survived by a son, Wayne Densmore, New Ellenton, SC; sisters, Glenda Clatterbuck, Atlanta, GA and Agnes Craven, Cullman, AL; brothers, Hershel L. Densmore, Arley, AL and William V. Densmore, Greenpond, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, his wife of forty-three years, Martha Lou Cobb Densmore, preceded him in death in 2003.
Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken, SC.
