Ethel Agnes Morgan was born Ethel Agnes Defreece, she was the last of nine children born to Hardin Defreece and Emma Catherine Wolfe near Bristol, Sullivan County, Tennessee, and grew up in Sullivan County. When she was abt 21yrs old in 1923, she joined a lonely hearts club, and corresponded thru the mail with a handsome man named Leonard F. Dobrinski who was living in Colorado. In December of 1924 he arrived in Sullivan County to take Ethel home with him to Colorado. She married Leonard on Dec 17th, 1924 in Sullivan County, and they left for Colorado right away...she never was able to go back to Tennessee due to finances, not even for her fathers funeral. She went the rest of her life never seeing any of her siblings again, she was only able to call them via phone and write letters thru the mail. Her sister Georgia came to Colorado once looking for her only to visit, but for reason's unknown....Georgia never got to see Ethel. Leonard and Ethel had two son's together, Stanley E. and Leonard O. Dobrinski. But they were divorced in 1943 when Ethel was about 39yrs old. She remarried in about 1955 to a man named John V. Morgan, they were not together for very long, but she kept his last name. Ethel was a very kind and gentle soul, quiet and soft spoken. I believe most of her life was spent wishing for happiness and good companionship, but she could never seem to find either one. She did however find peace and comfort in God. She died on Easter Sunday in 1977 in Denver Colorado when she was 74yrs old.
