Charles Roscoe Six, 53, well known Jollytown resident, died at his home Saturday, Nov. 22, 1947, at 12:05 a.m., following an illness due to a heart ailment.
A lifelong resident of south-western Greene County, he was born October 10, 1894, at Sand Hill, a son of the late Ezra and Eliza Six. Mr. Six followed farming and stock raising in the Jollytown community the greater part of his life, and was a member of the Mt. Tabor Methodist Church at Jollytown.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Cecil Shriver Six, he leaves one daughter, Mildred Six, of Jollytown, and two sons, Fred Six, of Jollytown, and John Edward Six, of Washington, PA.
