A gentle, kind and loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, and nephew, he will be deeply missed by all. Scott is survived and tenderly remembered by his mother and father, Glenda and Larry Murphy, Sage Murphy, his sister, Joye, brother, Larry Jr., grandparents J.C. and Barbara Barnes, nephews, Tristan, Trace, and Noah, and a host of relatives and friends. His gentle, polite, and kind spirit touched everyone he encountered in the blessed 31 years he was with us. A peaceful and free spirit, Scott cherished music, art, and travel. An avid camper and hiker, his lifelong love of nature and the outdoors were highlighted during his time as a ranch hand in the Texas Hill Country and times spent on our Gulf coast and beaches.
