W.A. STOWELL DEAD
End Comes to Former Minneapolis Resident at La Crosse, Wis.

W.A. Stowell, after a long illness, died last night at the home of W.W. Cargill, La Crosse, Wis. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., and the burial will be at La Crosse.
In the later eighties Mr. Stowell lived in Minneapolis and was well known, especially among the grain men. He moved to the Soo and after a time took up his residence again in Minneapolis. For several years he has lived with his daughter, Mrs. Cargill.
He leaves another daughter at La Crosse, Mrs. C.E. Stowell, also a son at Buffalo, Minn., J.E. Stowell. Mrs. John H. McMillan of Minneapolis is a granddaughter.
Mr. Stowell was born in Utica, N.Y., Sept. 10, 1823.
