Doris Jenelle (Addington) Coffey was born in Gonzales, Texas on April 25, 1931 and went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 25, 2005. She is survived by her son Glenn Coffey of San Antonio; two daughters, Colleen Coffey of San Antonio and Michelle Coffey of Sabinal; brother Robert Addington of Branson, Missouri; granddaughter, Angela Coffey of Tampa, Florida; grandson Jacob Alderete of Universal City; great grandson Seth Alderete of San Antonio; and numerous nieces. A graduate of San Antonio College and Trinity University, Mrs. Coffey was a long time teacher in the San Antonio Independent School District and also spent several years overseas with the Defense Language Institute teaching English to foreign military officers. Funeral services will held on Saturday, July 30, 2005 at the Mission Park South Funeral Home, 1700 SE Military Drive, San Antonio. Viewing will be at 10:30 A.M. followed by a short service. Interment will be at Mission Park South Cemetery with a graveside service at 1:00 P.M.
