The funeral for Gloria Kuehl, 45, Lake Park, Minn., will be at 2 Tuesday in Lake Park Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 Monday, with a prayer service at 6, in Vigen Funeral Home, Lake Park. She died Friday.
Gloria DeGroat was born Jan., 17, 1945, in Detroit Lakes, Minn. She grew up in the Callaway, Minn., area, and graduated from high school in Detroit Lakes in 1963. She attended Detroit Lakes Technical College and had been employed by the Detroit Lakes school district in Callaway as a cook and a Title IV teacher. She married Duane Kuehl Aug. 24, 1987, in Lake Park.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Jason and Jon, both at home; a stepson, David, Washington, D.C.; two daughters, Julie Badar, Lake Park; and Jean Kuehl, at home; three stepdaughters, Cheryl Kuehl, Baltimore; Connie Kuehl, Detroit Lakes; and Christi Kuehl, Weslaco, Texas; six brothers, Summery, Kernersville, N.C., Lyle, Glyndon, Minn., Willis, Sherman, Texas,; Tim, Ellsworth, Wis., Terry, Brooklyn Park, Minn.; and Dan, Coon Rapids, Minn.; seven sisters, Doris (Mrs. Thomas) Straw, Morris, Minn.; Geneva (Mrs. Raymond)Gewke, Wausau, Wis.; Angeline (Mrs. Chester) Boen, Olivia, Minn.; Caroline (Mrs. Don) Nicholson and Linda (Mrs. Elton) Hornseth, both Thief River Falls, Minn.; Edith (Mrs. Byron) Huseby, Audubon, Minn.; and Darlene (Mrs. Larry) Hynding, Detroit Lakes; and two grandchildren.
