This is my Grandfather. He was our "Papa" and we all loved him so much. He was a bit awnry but that's what made him the man he was.
Papa and Mar had two sons, Edwin and Wayne, Mar had Lucile before they married and Papa adopted her as his own. He loved all three very much.
We spent all the big holidays at their house, the dining room was huge and elegant. We played in the backyard with "Sparky" the turtle and hide and go seek too.
When Mar would do the dishes. and we were outside the window, she would spray us with the sink sprayer....
we loved that, especially on a hot day.
He worked at the Department of Water and Power for many years and then he retired.
After his wife Marion died, he got remarried later on to Clara. She was Hungarian and we all liked to hear her talk, she sounded like Zsa Zsa Gabor.
Many more memories fill our hearts with so much joy.
