New Holland, April 1. David Wilson Jones, 78, one of the well known residents of the community who had been in poor health for sometimes, died suddenly while sitting in a chair at his home Wednesday afternoon shortly after three o'clock.
He is survived by his widow and eight sons and daughters; Shirla, Delbert and Ina Jones, Anna Hamilton, Addie Silver, Ida Ankrom, Alice Stoker and May Wood.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ, Friday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. W. B. Rose and burial will be made in the New Holland cemetery under direction of A.W. Kirkpatrick.
