After the death of her first husband, Henry Berry Owsley, Susan married Tilman (Tim) Minton.

Minton, Mrs. Susan H. - 63, wife of Tilman D. Minton of Mascot, died at the family home Monday night. Survivors: husband; sons: G. W. Ousley, Corryton; John Ousley, Ooltewah; and Harrison Ousley, Indiana; daughters: Mrs. Mary Walker, Chattanooga; Mrs. Mamie Suttle, Speedwell, Tenn.; and Mrs. Lassie Dossett, Indiana; stepsons: Curtis Minton, Powell Station; Starlin and Charles Minton, Tazewell; step-daughter: Mrs. Nila Pitts, Michigan; sister: Mrs. Sarah Beeler. She was a member of Sharp's Chapel Methodist Church. The body is at McCarty's. Services Thursday at 10 A.M. at Lead Mine Bend Methodist Church, Union County, Rev. T. C. Brantley officiating. Burial in Taylor Cemetery. The funeral party wll leave the home Thursday, 8:30 A.M. McCarty's in charge.
