Mr. Benjamin F. Lamb was an employee in the packing room at a sewing machine company at the time of his death. He began this type of work before the 1900 US census. Previously he had worked as a station agent (1872) and in the fish market (1880).

Mr. Lamb first married Flora A. Bancroft at Athol, Mass. on August 11, 1872. Secondly, he married Ida R. Cobb at Orange on January 23, 1880.

Sadly, Benjamin was run down by an automobile, while crossing in front of his home at 19 West River Street in Orange, fatally fracturing his spine. He was 66.
