Jeffrey T. Christel, age 55, a Sheboygan resident, died Friday afternoon, July 26, 2013 at the Morningside Health Care Center, Sheboygan.Jeff was born May 1, 1958 in Manitowoc, son of Thomas and Ruth (Schamburek) Christel. He was a graduate of Valders High School with the class of 1976. Jeff was employed with the Kohler Company for 29 years as a Color Miller until his retirement do to his declining health.Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law: Cassie & John Pogatschnik, Moreland Hills. OH; Brittany Christel, Milwaukee; loving friend: Liz Gehr, Sheboygan; parents: Thomas & Ruth Christel, Valders; three brothers and one sister-in-law: Jay Christel, Manitowoc; David Christel, Valders; Chad & Carolyn Christel, Kiel; one sister and brother-in-law: Cathy & Doug Wallander, Chilton; nieces and nephews: Kim, Kami, Kayla, Ashley, Tony & Nicole. Jeff is further survived by other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
