Betty Williams Belt, 83, of Paris died Saturday, July 27, 2013, at her home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home. John Smith of Fairview Baptist Church will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Sulphur Well Church of Christ cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy and Donnie Williams, Shannon Hogan, Jeremy Kelley and Russell and Brad Wade.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday and after noon on Tuesday at McEvoy.

Born in Paris on July 26, 1930, Belt was the daughter of the late Bruce and Merle Smith Williams.

She was married Feb. 18, 1989, to William Belt, who preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 2011.

Belt was a graduate of Grove High School and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She worked at the Holley carburetor plant in Paris.

She is survived by three daughters: Judy (Terry) Moon and Opal (Teddy) Wade, both of Paris, and Barbara (Rickey) Kelley of Williamsport; one son: Chris (Missy) Hamilton of Paris;

Five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two great-great grandchildren; and special friends Carrie Villaflor, Joan Looney and Rita Evans.

Belt was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ann Williams.
