Mr. Louis Dugas dies; Was 62 Years of Age
Mrs. Louis Dugas of Webber, Kan., former resident of Concordia and Aurora, died early this morning at St. Joseph Hospital. Mrs. Dugas had been ill for some time and was taken to the hospital two days ago.
Louis Labarge Dugas was born at Aurora on December 5, 1887, the daughter of Peter and Olivine Labarge.
She is survived by her husband and six children: Mrs. Charles Landry of Concordia, Mrs. Olin Damaron of Wichita, Edmond Dugas of Wichita, Mrs. Hugh Meier and Mrs. Kenneth Thompson of Superior, Neb., and Mrs. Lawrence Graham, Emporia. Also surviving are three brothers, Ed Labarge of Aurora, and Joe and Ovide, Demar, Kan.; three sisters, Mrs. Med Bedard of Hays, Mrs. Art Morrell, Palco, and Mrs. Armine Hays of Damar; and sixteen grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at the Catholic Church in Concordia, and burial will be at the Catholic cemetery here.
Mrs. Dugas' body will be taken this evening to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Landry, 219 East 6th street, and rosary service will be held Friday evening at 8 o'clock at the Landry home.
