A native of Union County, she was a member of Tabernacle Faith Church, Piedmont.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie J. and Georgia Verdin of the home; a brother, Bobby Joe Jolly of Union; a sister, Sara Bledsoe of Union; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Verdin was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Verdin.
Visitation was held 6:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at Wood Mortuary.
Funeral services were held at Victorian Hills Independent Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Brian McCall, Rev. Melvin Helmuth and Rev. Berry. Burial followed in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Greenville.
